a day in Galveston

We took a family day a few days after we got here, and here are a few pictures.

feeding the seagulls off the back of the Bolivar ferry

the bread in that bird’s mouth was, just a fraction of a second before, in Mary’s hand!

yep, that’s the Mary we know – full of life! check out those tankers in the background

Benj took this one, love the perspective.

at the Lone Star Flight Museum – the plane used in the film, ‘Secondhand Lions’

a huge part of what made Houston what it is today – the oil refineries, as taken by Benj on the ride home

Riding the Bolivar ferry is one of my favorite childhood memories. I also rode it with Barry on our first date. 🙂
